“The Money is in the List” I’m sure you have heard that before.
Building your mailing list so that you can basically make money at will is the goal of many Internet marketers and home business operators. It is a skill that you need to learn and you need to learn it now. EVERY single visitor that is at your website right now will be lost forever if you do not collect their details so you can contact them later.
Your list building probably consists of a link or sign up form to your newsletter. This is the most common and least effective way of building your list. If you get 1 in 100 signing up you are doing Unbelievable! So to get a list of 10,000 people you need to get at least a 1 MILLION Visitors to your site. But if only 1 in 200 sign on you will need to get 2 MILLION visits to your site.
How long will it take to get 2 million people to visit your website? Remember too, that these 2 million people need to have an interest in your product or website first or they will never join your newsletter. If you own a CAT website, 2 million dog owners is of little to no use to you.
So Not only do you need 2 Million visitors to build your list, you need 2 Million visitors that are Interested in CATS.
I personally know 4 cat owners, so in my case I would need to locate 1,999,996 more cat people if I wanted 10,000 cat owners on my list. A HUGE JOB you will admit.
