How to Promote a Product Or Website Through Articles? |

January 20th, 2010

Author: Fabio Jesus

Some people may think that article marketing is dead. They could not be more wrong. It´s more alive than ever. When you search for something on google, yahoo, msn or any other search engine, you get information for 3 places: Websites, Blogs/Forums and Article Directories. Your articles show up on the serach engines. Can you imagine the power of that?

There are 3 main factores to a succeful article: Title, Summury and Body. For better understanding, they were split in 3 and explaned one by one.

Title - This is the first thing that someone sees when looking to an article. Even more important than the title itself, is the first word on it. You have to come up with something that will have people wanting to read your article. If you start your title with “Learn How to…”, “How to…”, “Top 3…”, etc, you will get more people reading the article.

Everyone want to learn more, and a title like that will make them to read it.

Summury - Below the title there is the summury. Write a couple phrases, so that the reader knows what you will be talking about.

Body – Talk about your topic. Give tips and help people with it. If you are promoting a product, then tell them the benefits from it. Give us much inside information as possible. By doing that you will be helping people, and those who want to learn even more about it. might buy the product. Say the truth and be honest.

Some article directories have a resource box. This is where you would put the link for the website or product that you are promoting. If there is not a resource box, then just put the link on the article body.

Online Marketing Blueprint to Success- You Owe it to Yourself Part 5 |

January 19th, 2010

Author: Dan Atkins

Online marketing, is not the easiest thing to learn, especially if you are not familiar with the terms that are used and you know nothing about online marketing, other than the strategies of the old school.

Some marketing strategies that has been around for awhile, but might be new to you, are as follows: SEO, (Search engine optimization) when I decided to put a halt to all the marketing madness and develop a business from the ground up and throw all the old school marketing out the window, it became abundantly clear to me, that I had a lot to learn.

It all started by my inquiring about marketing on the Internet and one thing keep coming up was, Search engine optimization, also known by “SEO”. I soon realized that this was the way to go, if I wanted to build a business on the Internet. I also understood that I had to have my own website, that is, if I wanted to implement search engine optimization in my marketing plan.

So, I was faced with a decision to make, do I get a website or a blog? After careful study I opted for a blog for the following reasons; a blog is very popular with search engines, because they are designed for fresh content articles, articles about your personal life or a subject that you are a expert in or a authority on the subject, this is what the search engines look for. Fresh content is king!

Now the question is, since I know nothing about Search engine optimization, how do I start my marketing plan? I started by subscribing to all the SEO newsletters I could, in order to gain as much knowledge about the subject as I could, this was very helpful in understanding the concept of Seo marketing. While reading and studying all the new found information from the Seo companies, a subject that caught my eye, and that was on “Google branding”.

Google branding might not be a phrase with which you are familiar in the home based business industry. However, this idea can teach the home based business person a valuable lesson when it comes to creating a brand for your business. Because Google is the most recognizable business of the decade, you might be wondering how your small home based business can learn from a multi-billion dollar company. You can in the way in which they made a name for themselves.

There is a reason that the current marketing students are learning about Google in their college classes. There is a lot they can learn from the giant. The first thing that is important to note about Google branding is that the way in which the search engine works these days is that it puts a lot of emphasis on branding. Because of this, how can a small home based business such as your own compete with the giant brands of the world? The first step to competing is to create a brand for your home based business.

You want to do this by promoting yourself over your business. You want people to feel as if they know who you are. You can do this through blogs and social media sites.

The whole point of branding your company is that you want people to see you as the only place to go for that particular business. It is not about beating out your competitors, it is about making a name for yourself and your company.

Once you have established a brand for your home based business, you can be successful with Google branding. The reason they felt the need to run their search engine this way was because it basically is a way to weed out companies with irrelevant content that could not be trusted.

Because Google is the most popular search engine, you need to do everything you can to get to the top of their search engine results. This is the best way to drive traffic to your site.

They constantly are changing the way in which their search algorithms work, and the newest change as been toward Google branding. You can use this to your advantage just by letting people get to know you. The more they feel they know you, the more likely they are to trust your home based business. It can get you to the top of the list.

BODYBUILDING ARTICLES.Effective fat burning |

January 14th, 2010

Author: Robert McClure

Plus, these workouts consist of exercises and techniques that do not exercise the body in the way it is normally used so they end up building a somewhat unusable strength. In my opinion, most people, unless their main objective is bodybuilding, shouldn’t perform the traditional style workouts

While I do still believe that machine and free weight strength training is the best choice for body building, it is NOT the best choice when it comes to general fitness goals like strength, flexibility, endurance, etc.

I don’t know about you, but I can barely fit in 15 minutes for exercise let alone 2 hours… and I personally am not interested in muscle size alone (which doesn’t mean strength and usually leaves you stiff and inflexible)! I’m sure your schedule is probably the same. The good news though is you don’t have to… you can burn fat, increase flexibility, build unbelievable strength and endurance, reshape your body, and build a level of fitness that is truly functional.

I want to share with you a workout that I do personally that delivers a great combination of strength, flexibility, cardio and muscular endurance, and fat burning.

WARNING: The following workout will not only surprise you, but it will likely go against everything you ever thought to be true about fitness. Also, it is recommend you consult your physician before beginning any exercise program.

Are you ready? Good, here it is:

The following exercises should be performed with little or no rest between and you may need to adjust the number of repetitions or time depending upon your current fitness level.

    * Jumping Jacks -1 minute

    * Bodyweight squat (one-leg squat for advanced) – 15-20 reps

    * Push-ups (slower reps for advanced) – as many reps as possible

    * Kick butts (jog in place and kick your rear with both heels) – 1 minute

   * Hamstring floor bridge (use swiss ball or one leg for advanced) – 15-20 reps

    * Superman (lying on stomach w/ arms out to side, lift legs and chest off floor) – 15-20 reps

    * High knees (jog in place lifting knees as high as possible) – 1 minute

    * Stationary lunge – 15-20 reps

    * Torso rotations/twists – 20 reps each direction

    * Side bends/reaches – 20 reps each direction

    * Mountain climbers – 1 minute (if you can J)

    * Wall sit – as long as you can hold it

    * Dips (use chair/bench/stairs) – as many reps as possible

There you have it… sounds easy, right? That couldn’t possibly do anything, right? I personally challenge you… try it… no, try it right now! Drop what you are doing and give it a shot and see for yourself. If you find it a bit easy, which I doubt, perform it 2-3 times through without rest. This workout will deliver more usable fitness results and benefits than any traditional gym or health club workout. Now, you can of course implement this type of workout in the gym and make it even better, but the beauty of this is you can do it anywhere! Also, this is just one example and as you can imagine, there thousands of other exercises you can add or replace… I actually recommend switching the exercises every 2-4 weeks or even better is to put together 3 or 4 different workouts and then rotate them.

How to Take Your Niche Market to Google Page One – Helpful Information to Know |

December 22nd, 2009

Author: Dan Atkins

To begin with, you need to understand that it is going to be rather difficult to take your niche market to Google page one unless you are a well established website owner with a huge marketing budget. But still it is possible. In order to make it be easier for you to understand, here’s an example; if you choose niche “cat food” this will be extremely difficult but, if you try “diabetic pet food for cats” things will become much easier and you will definitely get the greater possibility that your site will draw the attention of the search engine bots.

As a matter of fact, this will help you to achieve your goal – to get on page one for that search term, and bring the attendant traffic that will follow from this good position. So, as you have understood this narrower term, it would be your niche.

In order to identify your websites niche and find the one that will bring the appropriate kind of traffic that will help you to be successful, you need to take the following steps:

Step #1 – Researching

You should use Google’s AdWords keyword tool and type in your general market term, for example such as cat food. As a result you will see that this will produce a list of a lot of key words associated with cat food. In addition you will get the number of times each key word has been searched for in the past month. You should choose terms of 3 to 4 words in them, and a search volume of at least 1000 per month, then create a list.

Step #2 – Competition Assessing

It means that you should take your list and type every term into the Google search box, put the phrase in quotes, for example “diabetic cat food”, and take a note of how many results are found. To go into more details, you will get the number at the top of the search results page, for instance, Results 1 – 10 of about 8,190 for “diabetic cat food”.

Simply speaking, that is the actual result for that term at the time of this writing. You need also to keep in mind, that you should choose anything under 30,000 because in this case you will have a really good chance to get on that first page of results. After this you should make a note of your best results, most search volume for lowest competition. Finally, you can choose your niche.

Step #3 – Finding Products to Sell

If the case is that you don’t have a product for your site, you may opt for the other great opportunity – joining the affiliate program. It goes without saying, visiting Google is the easiest way to find a proper affiliate program for your niche. The only thing you will have to do is to type in “niche phrase plus affiliate program” and you will get the results.

It should be also mentioned that if the case is that you don’t find any suitable products, you can also try serving contextual ads on your site for your keyword, for example, using Google AdSense.

And now that you have the most potentially profitable keyword for your list it is the time to get your web site.

Step #4 – Domain Registering

So, now you need a domain name for your website. As a matter of fact your name should include the phrase you have chosen (in our example this should be “diabeticcatfood.com”).
Keeping in mind it will be rather easy for you to take your niche market to Google page one and succeed in you online venture! Good luck!

Indian Laws |

December 22nd, 2009

Author: pushya

India can boast of an excellent and well defined legal system since ancient times. The ‘World Court’ which is the highest seat of law where disputes between nations are heard and verdicts delivered by an eminent multi nation jury recognises this fact with a rare honour. It has an imposing statue of ‘Manu’ with the inscription ‘Manu – The Ancient Hindu Law Giver’ adorning the entrance of its main building. This is in recognition of ‘Manu Smriti’ an exhaustive treatise covering civil, criminal, political and military law with clear interpretations compiled single-handedly by Manu. The importance of this book can be gauged by the fact that it was among the earliest works to be translated by the British to understand native law and legal system. While much of Manu’s laws may sound archaic, irrelevant or even unjust today, it remains the first ever authoritative work on law, a mammoth effort to define and codify law and lay down well defined statutes and provisions during a time when justice was meted out arbitrarily by the King.

Indian laws have a strong British influence and American effect to a lesser extent. While laws have to be respected per se and accorded high status, they should be reviewed from time to time to assess their relevance and efficacy in a changing society. We may need to exercise great caution in this exercise but the fact remains that laws like all other aspects of life have to be revisited and modernised periodically for them to be contemporary and meaningful.

Indian laws are broadly classified as Criminal, Constitional and Civil laws, while the first two are uniform to all citizens of the country, civil laws vary according to the community of the individual. Civil laws cover marriage, divorce, adoption, succession rights etc. As a multi religious and secular nation respecting all religions it was decided to allow different religious groups to be governed by their customary laws when it comes to their personal lives. This has been criticised by a section of people who feel that every country should be ruled by a homogeneous set of laws or a uniform civil code even in matters regulating the personal lives of its citizens as is the practice being followed in the rest of the world and there should be no differentiation on any basis.

The two sayings ‘Justice delayed is justice denied’ and  ‘It is of fundamental importance, that justice should not only be done but manifestly and undoubtedly be seen to be done’ capture the spirit of good jurisprudence better than anything else. ‘Justice’ like many other things in this world would become meaningless if it is not dispensed in time and reaches the petitioner after he has undergone needless suffering, trauma and a long wait.  A painful long wait cannot be compensated even if separate compensation is awarded for the ‘pain and mental agony caused’ by the courts. If the first saying emphasizes the need for speedy justice the second saying underlines the need for making it evident and well known that justice was indeed dispensed, that the aggrieved was redressed and the culprits were punished or penalized in a manner befitting their crime. This has a two way effect, while the faith and confidence levels in the judicial system is strengthened, it also serves as a deterrent to potential wrong doers sending them a warning of the consequences and that no one can go Scot-free after committing a crime. Open courts and carrying our sentences in full public view as in the Gulf countries may be viewed as extreme examples of such transparency, but it does serve as a powerful deterrent. The media could play a crucial role in letting the world know of the verdict of the courts and assure the public at large that real justice was meted out and the guilty were punished.
It is true that while reviewing specific judicial verdicts there are comments from the people that the punishment was not strong enough and the culprits got away lightly and this may not send the fear wave among wrong doers, people feel that some laws need more teeth to make them effective. This however is not something that could be reviewed by common people and is best left to legal experts. The most common grievance however is not so much about the quality of justice but the long wait and inordinate delay in receiving it. This is a serious issue that makes true the saying about delayed justice and makes people apprehensive of seeking justice from courts and resort to third party mediation or out of court settlements. While mutual dialog and compromise are desirable steps to settle disputes, it should happen out of common consent and not out of fear of delayed justice in the courts. Insufficient number of courts, non-availability of judges and location of courts in cities that are far away from where the litigants are located are cited as reasons for the huge backlog in pending cases before the courts.

The judiciary is no doubt seized by the issue of clearing the pending cases and is trying to improve the situation by appointing fast track courts to try cases that call for immediate redressal and increase the number of courts in the country. Steps like doing away with the old law that required that any hospital should treat an accident victim only after an FIR (First Information Report) is made in a police station which led to loss of precious time and the need for strong evidence in the case of dowry harassment or other crimes against women are welcome changes and reflect the human face of Indian law. The recent legislation that judges need to declare their assets like Ministers or government officials is a healthy step and would help in enhancing their image and credibility with the public.

Child Labour |

December 22nd, 2009

Author: pushya

There is an old saying that goes ‘The child is the father of the man’ it simply translates that childhood is the formative period when a man’s character is shaped, traits are built and values inculcated. Quality of life at this stage assumes great importance in the light that today’s children are tomorrow’s adults and would  soon be key players or movers and shakers as we call them in the great new world all of us dream of. Unfortunately children as a segment remain a rather neglected and deprived lot in a fast and adult centric world which views everything from its own misconceived perception. Deprivation takes the form of lack of quality time with family, absence of personalized love and a sympathetic ear in the affluent countries while in the third world it is symbolized more starkly in terms of being denied basics like food, clothing, shelter, medical care and education.  What is worse is that in the under developed countries children are not just neglected but actively exploited as a means of cheap labour.

Child labour is a crime against humanity, it is an inhuman practice that stunts the physical and mental growth and stifles the free roaming spirit of the child and simply goes against nature. Worse still the victims are too young to even comprehend that they are being exploited. It is among the most serious social issues facing the world today and also among the most complicated. As a practice child labour has existed since time immemorial, in a typical agricultural economy like India a man’s worth in the olden days was measured in terms of the number of children he had as more children meant more hands to work in the farm and more produce to be reaped. While this was not certainly desirable, one should also consider that the children could have done little else if they were not working in their father’s farm as there were no schools to attend during these times, besides they were not overly burdened with work and fairly well cared for in terms of basic necessities like nutrition and security. The industrial revolution and the resultant exodus to the urban areas in search of jobs and a livelihood marked the beginning of child labour assuming startling proportions and becoming a major social issue. Children on account of their innate innocence and helplessness became hapless victims in the new industrial era of increased production, competition and an unlimited opportunity to make money and businesses looking for a cheap and unquestioning labour force.

Most of us would recall the little boy with a twinkle in his eye cleaning the dinner table in our weekend eat out, a fiver pressed into his palm and a pat on his back  being our two great gestures to assuage our guilt before we walk out uneasily groaning under the weight of a sumptuous filling. He is among the millions of this nation’s underprivileged and exploited children running the looms in the zari embroidery works toiling in the dark and dinghy rooms, cutting his fingers and the silkworms infecting his wounds to keep our womenfolk fashionable and the merchants wealthy, he inhales the fumes and toxic chemicals in the marble quarries of Kota and match/fireworks industries of Sivakasi so we could have well polished floors and make merry during Diwali, he languishes in the wayside dhaba, polishes your shoes as you rush to work, accompanies the truck driver as a cleaner boy and engages in an endless list of adult activity to earn a square meal for himself and his family. Children are also employed in slaughter houses, pubs and cabaret halls in utter disregard to their sensibilities and the fact that they are in a stage where absorption of peer groups is fast and being exposed to such activity could leave a serious and permanent scar on their psyche. In the economically backward areas child labour takes the more exploitative and oppressive form of ‘bonded labour’, here they are sold like cattle to their benign owners who treat them no better than that. In a broad sense however all child labour is bonded, they may not be in chains and may be free to leave, but they are nevertheless under bondage, so long as they are in a place against their wish and will and discharging duties quite beyond their age and toiling for their survival.

Child Labour is a complex issue, it raises questions that are difficult to answer, it has no simplistic solutions and needs to be tackled at different levels. India is a signatory to the
both the UN Convention and the ILO (Intl Labour Organization) that  strictly ban employing children below the age of 14, closer home we have the Child Labour Act of 1986. As in many other cases the law breakers do so with impunity with a corrupt and insensitive official machinery looking the other way and making a mockery of the legal process. The fact that the exploited have no other choice and are willing to readily give themselves up to the exploiters than starve makes it difficult to liberate them. Non Government bodies like the Centre of Concern for child labour, social awareness organizations and pressure from organizations from abroad in the form of banning import of products made with child labour have had a better impact in curbing the menace of child labour or improving their working condition than the child labour laws which exist only on paper or their enforcers.

In conclusion we could say that the solution to child labour could come only with a genuine change of heart and concern to fellow human beings until then we need to constantly educate the people on how unfair and unjust it is to employ child labour.Real liberation is possible only when the economic divide between the rich and the poor is narrowed and parents are not compelled to send their children to work as the only means to survive. While you may be able to deter employers from hiring children through strict implementation of child laws, policing and imposing high penalties on defaulters, how are we going to tackle the larger issue of making good the loss in revenue to the family whose only sustenance was the income the child was bringing in? Saving the child from an exploiting employer and leaving the family with no other option could be like a shift from the boiling water to the fire. While the exploiter would go on with his business with adult employers after paying the penalty it is the rescued child and his/her family that needs to face the uncertainty of loosing their source of income.

The least we could do as individuals when we come across a child in harness of any kind is to be considerate to him/her as we would be to our own young ones, we may not be able to save him or support him but a little kindness, forgiveness and generosity could make a world of difference to the unfortunate child and make his world a shade better.

What Stops People From Writing Internet Articles? |

December 17th, 2009

Author: Jeff Schuman

It always surprises me how many people will not write articles to build their Internet business. There are many reasons for this and in this article we will look closely at four of the primary ones.

1. Most people do not think they can write. They think there is some magical skill they do not possess.

In reality if you can talk you can probably learn to write useful Internet articles. These can be articles you use to promote your business through article directories. They can also be shorter articles that you post on your blog.

As a matter of fact a simple thing you can do is go to Blogger.com and start a blog on something that interests you. Then spend time writing 200 to 300 word articles until you get good at it. You will find writing articles online is fun and not that difficult.

2. They do not have a system for writing. Having a simple system does take some pressure off of writing articles.

Writing numbered lists is a simple system. You start your article off with a short introduction announcing what you are going to write about.

You then create a list of three or four points relating to the theme of your article. You wrap up the article by summarizing what you have written about in another short 2-3 sentences. Anyone can do this with a little bit of practice.

3. Some people are just too busy. As the Internet continues to mature there are people coming online who are extremely busy.

They want to market their internet business in multiple ways including article marketing. These Internet marketers are better off to hire freelance writers for them. This way they can still get visitors from blog articles and article directories and not worry about taking time to write.

4. They do not really understand the long term benefits. There is no doubt if an Internet marketer understood how much traffic can come from articles they would take the time to learn how to do it correctly.

An article you submit to a directory could continue to bring you traffic several years from now. That really is the number one long term benefit. This is free traffic that continues to benefit your business over and over on a well written article.

In summary I really believe anyone can write articles to market their business. Whether you do it through article directories or blogging the benefits of writing Internet articles are too many to ignore.

Writing Articles For Backlinks |

December 6th, 2009

Author: James J Clarkson

Writing articles can be easy or difficult. It is all up to you and how you deal with it.

The first step to writing articles for back links is finding a topic that interests you. If your passion is in music and you decide to write an article about rocket science, chances are that you will become frustrated and give up very quickly. If, on the other hand, you write about the sounds of the different instruments and how they harmonize together in a symphony, it may peak your interest and the words could flow a great deal easier.

In my experience when I have written articles about things that do not interest me, it has taken five times as long to write them, and I did not enjoy the process of writing them. When I chose to write an article about a topic that interests me, or one that I am passionate about, the words flowed very freely, and I finished the article in only twenty or thirty minutes.

Another key that I found about writing articles for back links is not stressing about wording the article perfectly. In the beginning of my writing for back links journey, I stressed for hours on end to get the perfect wording for all my articles. This made it difficult for me to complete many articles, and made me less likely to start new articles because of all the work involved. Now, I still stress somewhat for the perfect wording on articles for some of my larger, more authoritative websites, but pay little attention to getting everything perfected for my small website articles and articles for back links. People will still read the articles, pick them up and put them on their websites. The internet is hungry for new content, and if you provide it, the content will get read and distributed.

When I first began distributing articles, I Googled “free articles” and submitted my articles to the top thirty or so websites that came up. This was a long and arduous process, as each of the submission websites required a username and password, which required setting up a new account. It also became frustrating as the Google rankings changed, and the top rankings fluctuated each time I went to submit a new article. Finally, I got frustrated with the whole process and gave up on article writing to build back links for my websites.

I tried many other ways of building back links, and some yielded some success. None seemed to work as well as giving articles away for free. I still get surges of traffic from authority websites picking up articles that I wrote two years ago.

Now I am back to article writing to build back links. I don’t stress so much about the details any more, though. I make sure I write at least one five hundred to seven hundred word article per day to give away for free. I now only submit the articles to my three favorite submission websites. I submit to the first for the authority it gives my articles, the second for how quickly they publish the articles, and the third because it distributes to thousands of other directories. I find this to be a good combination that is not too overwhelming. Give it a try for yourself. It works for me:)

Author: Article Marketer

30 minute article writing system can be very helpful for all writers and article marketers. This will save you time and energy. Even if you are a newbie, you will easily learn how to write articles fast. So read on to find out my practical tips on how to write an article quickly.

30 Minute Article Writing System: What does it involve?

This system has 3 steps to write articles fast:

  1. Quick research
  2. Writing keyword rich content
  3. Proofreading

Step 1: Quick Research

Research should not take more than 10 minutes. You should save as much time as possible for writing the article. So try to complete your research within 5-10 minutes. For this purpose, I would recommend you to refer only to 1-3 sources. The more information you get the more mess you will feel in your mind.

Step 2: Writing Keyword Rich Content

This is the most important part of 30 minute article writing system. You should have a list of keywords at your hand in advance. Try to use those keywords in the most effective way. But avoid overusing it. Keep keyword density 3-4% for each article. Also don’t forget to use the main key-term in the very beginning of the title to guarantee maximum organic traffic.

Step 3: Proofreading

Double check your article before publishing online.

Conclusion:

As you see, a 30 minute article writing system can be applied by everyone. You simply have to be careful at every step to get desirable results. Do you see now how easily you can learn to write articles fast even if you are a newbie in freelance writing?
